Lost keyboards from my Lake Charles studio
I’m missing two keyboards from my Lake Charles, Louisiana home studio after a gig at the Lake Charles Civic Center. Around 9:45 PM on Friday, June 7, 2024, they were in a black padded case in the back seat of my sedan, and I discovered them gone when I got home. One is a compact MIDI controller with white keys, the other a full-size keyboard in a blue cover. They’re essential for practice and mean a lot to me as I’m rebuilding my home studio.
Lost sheet music near Strand Theatre, Lake Charles
Last Friday at about 4:30 PM, I was leaving after a community choir rehearsal at the Strand Theatre area in downtown Lake Charles when I realized my sheet music was missing from my tote. The binder is pink with a few pencil marks and a faded title on the front. The piece I was practicing for our spring concert is a lively gospel number, and I can't manage the page turns without those sheets. My heart sank because those pages hold weeks of work from rehearsals at the Civic Center. If someone picked it up near the Strand or Civic Center, I’d be grateful to know it’s found.
Red sunburst Meinl cajón
I lost my red sunburst Meinl cajón yesterday around 3pm somewhere near the Lake Charles Civic Center along Ryan Street. It's a compact box drum, about 2 feet tall, with a glossy red sunburst finish and a natural front plate. There's a blue sticker with the initials AR on the back panel and a dent on the lower left corner. It has sentimental value because my late uncle gave it to me, and I really need it back for rehearsals this weekend. A frayed fabric strap wraps around the middle, and the back has a small scratch in the shape of a lightning bolt. If you found it, I’d be grateful to be reunited with it.
Silver flute with engraved initials AL
I lost my silver flute yesterday around 3pm near the Lake Charles Civic Center, tucked behind the Broad Street parking lot. It’s a Yamaha student model, about 26 inches long, with a few scratches on the bell and a slightly worn thumb key. The case is black with a red velvet lining, and the head joint is engraved with the initials 'AL' plus a tiny dolphin sticker I added as a kid. This instrument means a lot to me—it was a gift from my grandmother and it has real sentimental value. If anyone found it, please reach out; I’m really hoping to get it back.
Lost Stentor EJ-100 violin possibly left on a bench or in the wrong case at the park by the lake in Lake Charles.
I was at the park by the lake practicing for an upcoming concert when I realized my violin was missing. I think I might have left it on a bench or accidentally put it in the wrong case. It is a Stentor EJ-100 with some wear but has deep sentimental value to me as it was passed down from my grandmother. If anyone has seen it, please let me know.
Lost silver flute with minor scratches near the park bench to the left of the main entrance at Lake Charles.
I misplaced my silver flute while relaxing at the park near Lake Charles. I was sitting on a bench to the left of the main entrance when I got up to leave, and I think I might have left it there. It has some minor scratches but is otherwise in good condition. It's my favorite instrument and I would love to have it back.
