Lost sports equipment in Jonesboro
On Friday around 5:15 pm I realized I had left my equipment for various sports outside the Arkansas State University Student Union on Aggie Road in Jonesboro. I had set a gray duffel bag on a bench while I grabbed a quick snack, and when I turned back the bag was gone. Inside is a basketball, a football helmet, shin guards, and a couple of practice bibs the bag has a blue stripe and my initials on a tag. This gear is what we rely on for after school practice, and losing it would set our team back a bit.
Vintage stamp album with brass corners
I lost my vintage stamp album yesterday around 3pm near the Jonesboro Public Library on West Monroe Avenue. It’s a red leather-bound 8x11 inch album with brass corner protectors and a slightly worn spine. Inside, there are pages from the 1940s, a few loose sheets, and a tiny pencil note with my initials 'MI' on the inside cover. The cover has a faint embossed eagle and a small crack along the top edge. This album is sentimental to me—it was a gift from my grandmother and I’d be heartbroken to lose it. If anyone finds it, please reach out here; I’d really appreciate getting it back.
Found a small box containing a collection of vintage 1980s baseball cards featuring Nolan Ryan and Cal Ripken Jr. at Jonesboro Park.
I found a small box containing a collection of vintage baseball cards while walking my dog in Jonesboro Park. The box seems to have been left behind on one of the benches. The cards feature players from the 1980s and some well-known names like Nolan Ryan and Cal Ripken Jr. I'm hoping to return this collection to its rightful owner, as it seems quite special, possibly valuable too.
