I lost my sculptures last Friday at 7:15 PM outside the Jonesboro Arts Center on Main Street. I had just loaded a mixed batch of pieces: a tall metal sculpture with a rust patina, a bright ceramic figure, and a rough carved wood piece into a crate in the back of my van. I stepped across the street to grab a roll of tape from a shop, and when I came back the crate had toppled and the pieces vanished. These works are my livelihood and my heartbeat, and I am haunted by the thought of them out there somewhere in Jonesboro.
