A small tote labeled 'Wild and Domestic' was left on a bench, its zipper half-open and contents spilled onto the seat. It smelled faintly of sunscreen and citrus. Inside I spotted a sketchbook, a keyring with a tiny compass, and a couple of pins. It clearly wasn't mine, and I pictured someone arriving later and realizing it was missing.
