LOST coins from grandfather near Discovery Green
Hi, I am Marcus Bennett. I was downtown Houston around 12:15 PM on Tuesday, strolling near the Discovery Green fountain with a tin of coins my grandfather collected. I set the tin down briefly while grabbing a snack, and when I looked back it was gone from my pocket. The coins span roughly from the 1920s to the 1960s and include a few Texas-minted pieces. Those coins carry family memories, and I am shaken by the loss. If found, they belong with our family keepsake box near the park’s edge.
Found Organizers near Discovery Green, Houston
While walking back to my car near Discovery Green at 9:15 am today, I found a small tote with a set of organizers inside, neatly arranged and tucked under a bench by the water feature. I picked it up and checked for a quick ID or label, but there wasn’t anything obvious to identify the owner. It felt good to return something that might help someone stay organized for their day, even just a little relief to someone who misplaced it.
Lost: CDs near Market Square Park, downtown Houston
Friday around 7:00 p.m., I realized my CDs were missing after I left a cafe on Westheimer Road near Market Square Park. I retraced my steps through the area and checked Market Square Park, but the case didn’t turn up. The binder holds about twenty discs, mostly indie and classic rock, kept in a tan leather sleeve with a few scratches and some faded stickers. They’re special to me because several were gifts and some came from early Houston shows. If you’ve seen them, please let me know through the site so I can arrange a pickup.
Lost Holiday Decorations near City Hall
On Sunday around 7:45 PM, after a small holiday get-together on the edge of Downtown Houston, I realized my holiday decorations were missing from the back porch. The haul included a string of warm white lights, a garland, and a red ribbon wreath I tied last year. I clearly remember leaving the items on a folding table near City Hall on Main Street while I chatted with a neighbor about winter plans. It felt ridiculous to lose them, like a little piece of the season slipped away. If these decorations turn up, I’d be grateful to have them back.
Lost black small bag with wallet and passport in Houston
I lost a black small bag that contained my wallet and my Angolan black passport in the Houston area. Please contact me if you find it
Beige wool scarf with blue edge stitch
I found a beige wool scarf this afternoon around 3:45pm, left on the sidewalk near the Galleria's valet entrance on Westheimer Rd in Houston. It's a mid-length scarf, about 70 inches long, with a thick ribbed knit and tan tassels at both ends. There's a small J.Crew tag tucked into the inner corner and a thin blue thread stitched along the right edge—a tiny detail that’s easy to spot. The scarf is in good condition, just a little pilled from regular wear, no stains. If you recognize it, I'd really like to help you get it back—it's clearly been cherished and deserves to be worn again.
Dark walnut coffee table with glass insert
I lost my dark walnut coffee table with a glass insert yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks on Westheimer Rd in the Montrose area of Houston. It's a mid-century modern piece, about 4 feet long and 2 feet wide, with a 2-inch chip on the front-right corner. The glass inset has a faint star-shaped etching near the edge, and one leg sits a tad tilted from a prior repair. It was a gift from my grandma and holds a lot of sentimental value, so I’d really appreciate getting it back; I can come to pick it up anywhere within Houston if someone has seen it.
Found silver ring with black stone and diamonds
I found a ring that looks silver with a black stone and it looks like little diamonds surrounding it and diamonds also go on the top part of the band. I looked on the inside and the outside of the ring and there isn’t any marks Or anything written in. This was found on the walking trail at Eldridge Park during the first or second week of May. Please contact the email provided. Thank you.
Lost: Black Nike swim trunks with orange trim
I lost my black Nike swim trunks after a workout at Memorial Park in Houston yesterday around 3pm. They’re size large, quick-dry fabric, with a bright orange waistband and a small Nike swoosh on the left leg; I noticed a frayed drawstring. They have sentimental value because my aunt bought them for a charity swim run, so I’m really hoping someone picked them up near the pool by the tennis courts. If you found them anywhere around Memorial Park or in the Montrose area near Westheimer and Montrose Blvd, please message me—I'd be incredibly grateful to get them back.
Le Creuset red 6-quart enameled Dutch oven
I lost my Le Creuset red 6-quart enameled Dutch oven with lid yesterday around 3pm near the Whole Foods on Kirby Drive in Houston. It's the glossy red with a black knob, and there’s a tiny chip on the rim from a past drop. It was a gift from my grandmother and honestly it's the most-used piece in my kitchen, so I'm really hoping it turns up. If anyone found it, please message me—I'd be forever grateful.
Found LEGO City space set near Discovery Green
I found a LEGO City space set this afternoon around 2:30pm near Discovery Green downtown Houston, by the main fountain off McKinney Street. The box is blue and yellow, a bit creased on the top edge, and inside there's a spaceman minifigure in a red suit with a shiny visor, plus a small red space rover. There’s a rocket sticker on the front and a tiny star sticker on the back—these small details helped me spot it again. The contents look complete and the whole thing seems in good condition, just a little dusty from being outdoors. If this belongs to someone, I’d be glad to return it—tell me the color of the helmet and the sticker on the box to verify ownership.
Orange Le Creuset 6-qt Dutch oven
I lost my orange Le Creuset 6-quart Dutch oven yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks on Montrose Blvd and West Alabama St in Houston. It's the heavy pot with a glossy enamel finish, and the lid knob is black. There's a tiny chip along the rim and a faint scratch on the lid from a camping trip last year. It was a gift from my grandmother and means a lot to me, so I really need it back.
Navy North Face parka with faux fur hood
I'm hoping someone picked up my navy North Face parka, size M, with a faux fur hood. I last wore it yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks at Westheimer Rd and Kirby in Montrose. It's in good condition overall, but the left cuff is frayed and there’s a small coffee stain on the inner lining. Inside the left chest pocket there’s a tiny embroidered tag with my initials 'P.P.' and a faded photo of my dog. This parka has sentimental value—it was a gift from my sister, and I really need it back; if you found it, please reach out.
Black Korg microKORG synth found near library
I found a black Korg microKORG synthesizer this afternoon around 4:15pm in the parking lot behind the Downtown Houston Public Library on McKinney Street. It's a compact 37-key keyboard with orange end panels and a small dent on the lower-right corner; the patch panel labels are a little scuffed, and there’s a faded sticker reading 'Houston 713' on the top. The keys show wear, and the display glows warm orange when it powers up. It looks well-used but in solid condition, and I figured someone might be missing it after a practice session near the library plaza. I’d be glad to help get it back to its owner.
Penguin Classics pink paperback of Pride and Prejudice
I lost my Penguin Classics edition of Pride and Prejudice yesterday around 3pm. It's a small paperback with a pale pink cover, cream pages, about 5 x 7 inches, and a slightly creased spine from lots of use. Inside, there's a handmade leaf-shaped bookmark and a tiny coffee ring stain on the back cover. This copy is special to me—it was a gift from my grandmother and has a lot of sentimental value. I was sitting outside a cafe on Westheimer Rd near Montrose Blvd in Houston when I realized it was gone, so I’m really hoping someone picked it up and can return it.
