Lost brooches in downtown Hickory

Last Saturday around 4:15 p.m., I was strolling along Main Street in downtown Hickory when my brooches slipped from my sweater and vanished somewhere near the courthouse. They’re small but meaningful—one is a crescent moon set with pale blue stones, the other a delicate flower pin I’ve worn for years, gifts that remind me of my grandmother.
