Found Belts near Saenger Theatre

Hey, I’m Avery Johnson. Around 9:00 p.m. today I found Belts on the sidewalk outside the Saenger Theatre, downtown Hattiesburg. The belts are two different styles—one brown leather with a brass buckle and a worn black fabric belt—so I kept them together in a small tote by my apartment. I know someone out there is missing them after a night out, so I hope the owner recognizes this post and claims them here. I’ll make sure they stay safe and undamaged until they’re reunited.

Lost CDs in Hattiesburg, MS

I lost my CDs last night around 7:15 PM after studying at the University of Southern Mississippi campus. I had them in a black wallet tucked into my backpack, a mixed batch of classic rock and indie with a few scratched cases. I think I left them somewhere in the USM library courtyard, near the glass doors that overlook the quad, on my way to the campus coffee shop. I’ve retraced my steps and asked the front desk, but nothing turned up yet. It’s frustrating because those discs carry memories of recent road trips and late study sessions.

Found drones in Hattiesburg, MS

Last Friday around 7:15 PM, I found two drones behind the University of Southern Mississippi campus, near the parking lot off Hardy Street. They were in a black carry case with a spare propeller tucked beside the controllers, the screens catching the streetlights. The air smelled of rain-soaked grass from the late evening, and distant traffic hummed along US-49. I am posting here in case the owners recognize them and can reclaim them through the site.

Found sheet music near downtown Hattiesburg

I found a folder of sheet music tucked under a bench on Main Street in downtown Hattiesburg around 5:30 p.m. yesterday, near the library steps. The pages are well-worn, some notes smudged with practice, and the handwriting on the first page looks rushed but familiar. It felt like stumbling onto a small piece of someone's daily life - practice, patience, and a few quiet hours spent chasing a melody. I'm keeping it safe here for now, hoping the rightful owner sees this and will recognize their music soon.

Lost memory cards on USM campus

I was wrapping up a quick photo shoot on Hardy Street and ducked into the USM campus library courtyard for a coffee. At about 2:45 p.m. last Friday, I must have left my memory cards in a small black pouch on a bench near the Coleman Library on the USM campus. When I returned ten minutes later, the pouch was gone and the area was buzzing with students and chatter. Those cards hold hours of footage and personal shoots, and I would be grateful to have them back.

Hand-painted blue ceramic vase with gold specks

Category: Art & Decorative Items, Location: Hattiesburg. I lost my hand-painted blue ceramic vase yesterday around 3pm near the Saenger Theatre on Main Street in downtown Hattiesburg. It’s about 12 inches tall, cobalt blue glaze with tiny gold speckles and a small leaf motif around the rim. There’s a tiny glaze crack along the rim and a faint maker’s mark on the bottom that looks like an interlocking AM. It was a gift from my grandmother and means a lot to me—really hoping to get it back. If you found it, please message me—I'm offering a small reward and a heartfelt thanks.

Blue ticket stub for USM campus concert

Yesterday around 3pm I realized I’d lost my blue ticket stub for a USM campus concert. It’s a 2.5 x 4 inch blue paper ticket with a perforated edge and a tiny holographic star near the bottom; there’s also a coffee stain along the left edge. I think I dropped it outside the USM campus bookstore on Hardy Street in Hattiesburg while I was grabbing a snack. The barcode is still readable, but the ticket itself felt sentimental because it was a gift from my sister, so I’d really appreciate getting it back. If you found it, please message me so I can pick it up soon.

Blue paperback novel, The Alchemist, 1993 edition

I lost my blue paperback copy of The Alchemist, a 1993 edition, this afternoon around 3pm near the Hattiesburg Public Library on Main Street. It's a well-loved book with a creased spine, a coffee stain on the back cover, and a bright yellow sticky note tucked inside that reads 'For future journeys' in my handwriting. There's a small red coffee ring on the edge of page 112, and a tiny dog-ear on page 78. It was a gift from my grandmother, so it's sentimental to me — I really need it back.

Silver Yamaha flute with engraved initials

I found a silver Yamaha flute this afternoon around 4:15 pm behind the USM Student Union, near Cook Library on campus in Hattiesburg. It’s in a black hard case with a bright blue cleaning rod tucked inside; the headjoint has small initials 'AK' engraved near the lip, and there’s a tiny dent on the foot joint. The flute shows light scratches but otherwise seems well cared for, and I know how important a flute can be for a student’s practice—really hoping to get it back to its owner. Vintage 1977 Luke Skywalker figure

I lost my vintage 1977 Luke Skywalker action figure, a loose Kenner piece with a white tunic and brown hair, yesterday around 3pm in downtown Hattiesburg. I had it tucked in a small clear display case inside my messenger bag while I browsed the Main Street antique shops near the Hattiesburg Public Library, and I must have dropped it on the sidewalk. The figure has a tiny blue sticker on the back that reads SS-77 and the knee joint is a bit loose from age, plus the cape shows gentle wear. This is part of my growing childhood collection and it means a lot to me; I’d really love to get it back. If you found it, reach out via the email above and we can arrange a meetup downtown to pick it up.

It's a compact, matte-black instrument with a small dent on the bottom left corner and a bright blue sticker with a white star on the top-right corner. It used to sit in a black folding stand and has a red carry strap that loops through the side handle. It means a lot to me—it's my practice keyboard for an open mic, and I really need it back. Dark gray JBL speaker, lost near Starbucks

Yesterday around 3pm, I was at the Starbucks on Main Street in Hattiesburg, listening to music while I chatted with a friend, and I'm pretty sure I left my dark gray JBL speaker on the table. It's a compact, palm-sized speaker with a noticeable dent on the bottom edge and a neon-orange carabiner clip I use to hook it onto my backpack. I use it every day after shifts to unwind or study, so it's kinda irreplaceable. If anyone found it, please get in touch — I really need it back; it's been my daily companion for months.

I've been checking my bag since yesterday around 3pm. I was on the USM campus near the Cook Library steps when I last had it. It's a hardcover edition of Dune with a blue cloth cover, some edge wear, and a coffee stain on the bottom corner. Inside, there's a small red bookmark and a folded note tucked between pages 213 and 214. It has sentimental value—it was a gift from my late aunt, and I really need it back.

Black 24-inch Samsonite suitcase with red strap

I found a black 24-inch Samsonite suitcase this afternoon around 2:15 pm behind the JCPenney entrance at The Mall at Turtle Creek in Hattiesburg. It's a hard-shell model with a few scuffs on the corners and a bright red strap looped around the handle that makes it hard to miss. There's a blue TSA-approved lock and a small green luggage tag bearing the name 'Aiden' written in sharpie on the inner pocket. Inside, there's a spare packing cube and a folded travel guide, which makes me think someone was just passing through town—if you recognize these details, let me know and we can arrange a meetup to return it.

Leopard gecko found near Hattiesburg Public Library

I found a leopard gecko this afternoon around 3:30pm outside the Hattiesburg Public Library on Main Street. It's about 6 inches long from snout to tail, sandy tan with irregular dark brown spots and a bright orange tail. There's a small white patch on the back near the left shoulder, and the tail looks a little ragged from shedding. It stayed calm in my hands, so I tucked it into a small plastic container with air holes. I know how upsetting it would be to lose a pet like this, so I'm hoping to reunite it with its person soon. If anyone recognizes it, please message me through the app and we'll arrange a safe handoff.
