LOST equipment near Court Square fountain
Last Friday after our late practice I realized my bag with sports gear was missing. I left it on the bench by the fountain at Court Square, downtown Harrisonburg, around 7:20 pm. Inside were soccer cleats, shin guards, a basketball, and a water bottle with my initials. It's not fancy gear, but it keeps our weekend pickup games going, and the cleats were handed down from my older brother. I’ve retraced my steps through City Park and along Court Street, but the bag never turned up. I keep hoping someone who was there on the plaza that evening might remember the bag and kept it somewhere safe.

They were tucked inside a small red album with a brass clasp, the kind that holds a dozen keepsakes from trips abroad. Some of the stamps are rare and hold memories from family letters, so losing them feels personal and heartbreaking. Found stuffed panda with blue scarf near Court Square
I found a small stuffed panda this afternoon around 3:15pm behind Court Square Market on East Market Street in Harrisonburg. It’s a GUND brand panda, about 9 inches tall, with a bright blue knit scarf and a tiny pink heart stitched on one paw. The fur is soft but a bit matted from use, and there’s a small fray on the left ear. It seems well-loved, like it belongs to a kid who wandered away from downtown. If this sounds like someone’s toy, I’ll happily reunite it with the owner.
