I was leaving a small gallery stroll downtown and realized my jacket pins were gone around 6:45 PM on Friday near Rosa Parks Circle. I had pinned them to my denim for the evening, and the wind or a quick brush with a passerby probably did the rest. Those pins mattered—a compass key pin from a friend and a couple others with local symbols—and losing them felt a bit empty. If anyone found them in downtown Grand Rapids, I’d be grateful for their safe return.
This morning around 11:15 AM I realized my desk organizers were missing from the kitchen counter near Rosa Parks Circle in downtown Grand Rapids. It’s a small set of clear acrylic trays that keep pens, notes, and clips easy to find, plus a lid that fits over the top. I might have tucked them into my tote during a quick coffee run, or they could have slipped as I walked toward Van Andel Arena. They’re simple, not pricey, but they keep my day on track, and I’m hoping someone nearby picked them up and will return them.
I lost my blue Penguin Classics paperback, a sci-fi novel, yesterday around 3pm near Schuler Books & Music on 28th Street in Grand Rapids. It's about 1/2 inch thick, with a creased spine and a coffee stain on the bottom edge; the cover has silver foil lettering that catches the light. There's a small fox-shaped bookmark sticking out a little past page 120, and I left a tiny doodle of a rocket on the inside cover. It was a gift from my grandmother, and it means a lot to me; I really need it back. If you found it, reach me at [email protected].
I lost my red knit scarf yesterday around 3pm near Rosa Parks Circle, by the fountain. It's a medium-length scarf, about 60 inches, made of thick acrylic yarn. It has a white snowflake pattern along the ends and a small hole near the left corner. Inside there's a sewn-in label that reads 'Maggie's Cozy Knits.' It's a seasonal item—winter scarf—and it was a gift from my grandmother, so it means a lot to me. I really need it back; if anyone found it, please drop it off or message me.
I lost my black Anker PowerCore 10000 portable charger yesterday around 3pm near the Amway Grand Plaza on Monroe Center Street, downtown Grand Rapids. It’s the matte black power bank with a red silicone sleeve, and my initials AY are written on the sleeve. There’s a small dent on the top edge and the USB-C port cover is a bit loose. It’s essential for my daily commute and long workdays, and I’d really appreciate it if someone turned it in. If you found it, please message me here and we can arrange pickup near Rosa Parks Circle.
I found a compact MIDI keyboard this afternoon around 2:15pm on the sidewalk outside the Rosa Parks Circle statue in downtown Grand Rapids, right at the corner of Monroe Ave NW and Pearl St NW. It's a black Akai MPK Mini MKII with 25 keys and 8 red pads, USB cable still attached, and a small blue sticker on the back that reads 'Mason's Studio'. There are a few light scratches along the top edge and a tiny coffee stain near the USB port, but otherwise it's in decent shape. It obviously belongs to someone into making music, and I’d really like to return it to its owner. If this looks familiar, please reach out.
