I was walking past the Alerus Center at 7:15 p.m. on Friday and found a bundle of gym clothes on the sidewalk near the east entrance. Found Lamps near UND Memorial Union, Grand Forks

This morning around 9:15 AM I found two lamps just outside the Memorial Union on the University of North Dakota campus in Grand Forks. One is a brass tilt-lamp with a green shade, the other a white ceramic base with a faded floral pattern. They were dusty but seemed functional, and I carried them to the campus security desk to keep them safe. I hope the owners see this and come forward—these lamps clearly belong somewhere with a place to call home.

While strolling along DeMers Avenue by the Grand Forks Public Library this afternoon, around 4:20 pm, I spotted a crumpled stack of sheet music lying on the sidewalk, the pages fluttering in a light fall breeze.
