I lost my small abstract canvas painting yesterday around 3pm near the Empire Arts Center on 1st Ave N in Grand Forks. It’s a 12x16 inch stretched canvas in a black wood frame, a bit scuffed along the bottom edge, with muted blues and gray and a bright turquoise wave in the lower-right corner plus a bit of gold leaf catching the light. On the back there’s a tiny round sticker that reads 'Lena Studio'—easy to spot if you flip it over. There’s also a small dent in the bottom left corner of the frame from where it toppled off a bench. It was a gift from my aunt and has real sentimental value; I really need it back.
I lost my silver Yamaha flute yesterday around 3pm. It was outside the Memorial Union on the UND campus in Grand Forks, along University Ave near the bike racks by the river trail. It's a Yamaha YFL-221 in a black hard case with a red interior; the lid is engraved with my initials 'P.P.' and there's a tiny dent on the foot joint. The flute has sentimental value—my grandmother gave it to me, and I really need it back. If anyone found it, please reach out; I can meet in Grand Forks to pick it up or arrange shipping. Thank you.
I lost my blue canvas tote bag yesterday around 3pm outside the Starbucks on South Washington Street, not far from the UND campus. It’s a medium-sized tote, about 14 inches wide, with a bright orange tassel on the zipper and a small coffee stain on the bottom corner. Inside there’s a red fabric lining and a little fabric patch with my initials 'MK'. It’s sentimental to me because it held a gift from my grandmother, and I really need it back.
I lost my dog yesterday around 3pm near the UND campus in Grand Forks, by the bookstore on University Ave and the campus library. He's a medium-sized tan and white husky mix, about 40 pounds, with a fluffy tail that curls a bit. He wears a bright blue collar with a small silver heart-shaped tag that reads 'Niko.' There’s a faint white stripe on his chest and a tiny scar above his right ear; he also has a slight limp in his left hind leg when he gets excited. He means the world to me and this is really hard—this dog is family, and I’d be grateful to get him back. Please message me if you’ve seen him.
I lost my black Ray-Ban Wayfarer glasses yesterday around 3pm near the Ralph Engelstad Arena on the UND campus in Grand Forks. They’re glossy black with a thin silver line along the hinges, and one lens has a tiny scratch near the corner. Inside the right temple, my initials 'PP' are laser-engraved, a small clue if someone spots them. They’re prescription lenses and I really need them back for work and driving; they’re also a gift from my grandmother, so they feel sentimental. If you found them, please reach out—thank you so much for helping.
I found a silver Yamaha flute this afternoon around 3:15pm in the parking lot behind the Ralph Engelstad Arena on 2nd Ave in Grand Forks. It’s a standard student model, silver-plated, with a few scratches along the lip plate and a tiny dent on the foot joint. The case is black with a red velvet interior, and there’s an engraving on the headjoint that reads 'J. Carter'. The instrument seems in playable condition and well cared-for. I know how important a flute can be—especially if it’s a student’s instrument—so I’d really like to reunite it with its owner. If you can describe the engraving or bring proof of ownership, I’ll hand it over.
I found a small digital glucose meter kit this afternoon around 3:15pm, left on a bench outside the UND Bookstore on 2nd Ave in downtown Grand Forks. It's in a light blue plastic case with a white lid and a tiny yellow sun sticker on the lid. Inside there are a few test strips and the meter itself looks gently used but functional. The lid has a faint crack from a drop last week. If this belongs to you, message me here and we can arrange a quick meetup near Gore Plaza to get it back.
I found a black Anker 20,000mAh power bank this afternoon around 2:15pm in the Target parking lot on S Washington St, Grand Forks. It’s in pretty good condition—there’s a small dent on the top edge and a bright green sticker with the letters GF on the lid. The LED indicators flash when you plug it in, and there’s a tiny scratch along the side that might help identify it. This power bank is a real lifesaver for campus days, and I’d love to get it back to its owner since these things usually mean a lot to people. If this sounds like yours, I’m happy to coordinate a meet-up near Target or at the Grand Forks Public Library for pickup.
I found a sky-blue ceramic mug this afternoon around 3:15pm behind the Grand Forks Public Library on 4th Ave N. It's a standard mug size, about 3.5 inches tall, with a slightly chipped rim and a hand-painted sunflower along the side. The glaze is a speckled blue and there's a small crack along the handle, plus initials 'KB' etched on the bottom. If anyone recognizes it, I'd love to help reunite it with its owner—it's a mug that might hold sentimental value.
Found a bright green budgie with a yellow head this afternoon around 2:15pm. I spotted it perched on a streetlight pole by the UND Bookstore on University Ave, near the campus quad in Grand Forks. It has a small blue cheek patch and a blue leg band with the numbers 'G-52'. The bird is very tame and hopped onto my finger briefly before flying to a nearby sign and then back onto a hedge. It seems healthy and well cared for, and I’d love to help reunite it with its owner—if you’re missing a pet, please reach out with a description of the bird and the band number.
