At 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, I realized I had lost my two clutches from the Brice Street cafe table after a quick stop at the Florence County Library. They are filled with a few sentimental items—my grandmother's photo in one and a bracelet in the other—that I have carried for years. I had left them on the table while I chatted with a friend near the Florence Museum, and when I got back they were gone. I found Avians today, around 3:20 p.m., on a bench outside the Florence County Library by Irby Street. The tote held a cluster of small bird figurines—Avians—carefully arranged as if waiting to be admired. I checked for a note or ID and didn’t see anything, so I brought them inside to keep them safe. They look well-loved but not broken, and I’d be glad to return them to whoever is missing them.

I found a bag of equipment for various sports near Florence Civic Center around 6:40 p.m. on Monday. Inside the bag are a soccer ball, a basketball, a tennis racket, knee pads, and two water bottles. Everything is in a black duffel bag with a faded sticker and the initials SG on the zipper. I left the bag in a safe spot and hope the owner recognizes the gear and claims it soon.

Yesterday around 11:10 AM, I was at Timrod Park by the Florence Civic Center, sorting through a small album of stamps while waiting for a friend. I must have left a page with a rare stamp on a park bench near the walking path. This morning around 9:40 AM I realized my passport was missing after a quick stop at Florence Regional Airport to pick up someone, then a walk toward the Florence County Library on S. Dargan Street. The passport is in a navy-blue cover and has my photo ID tucked inside. I have an international trip next week and losing it has me stressed, but I’m hopeful someone turned it in near the library steps or along Dargan Street. If found, I’d really appreciate it being kept safe until I can reclaim it.
