Yesterday around 11:10 AM, I was at Timrod Park by the Florence Civic Center, sorting through a small album of stamps while waiting for a friend. I must have left a page with a rare stamp on a park bench near the walking path. Those stamps belonged to my grandfather and connect generations through letters and postage, and losing them feels like losing a piece of him.
