On a sunny Sunday at 2:00 PM, I was setting up two sculptures at the Deep East Texas Art Walk near the Old Stone Fort on Courthouse Square in Nacogdoches, when a crowd bumped the display and knocked them over. The two pieces, one wooden abstract about a foot tall and one rusted metal piece the same size, disappeared from the table. I spent months crafting them, and they feel like a piece of me.
