Lost coins near Chico State campus
Friday around 11:05 am I realized I’d left a small coin pouch behind at Chico State University, near the campus quad by the bookstore. I’d just stepped out from the library to grab a quick coffee when the pouch slipped from my jacket pocket onto the bench by the fountain. The collection means a lot to me: a 1943 steel penny, a couple of foreign coins, and a family token from my grandmother. I’m anxious because these aren’t just money; they’re memories. Lost action figures from my Chico shelf.
Last night around 6:30 PM I was tidying up my apartment near City Plaza in Chico when I realized a few of my action figures were missing from the display shelf. The set is small but meaningful to me; a red robot with a chipped paint edge and a green alien with googly eyes were on top, and I remember brushing dust from them just before I left the room. I retraced my steps this morning, walking from Broadway down to 4th Street, checking under the couch cushions, the closet, and the small bookcase where they usually sit. These figures are a reminder of happier days, and I’d be grateful to have them back where they belong.

I found a blue Giro bike helmet this morning around 7:40am behind the bike racks by the Chico State Transit Center on West 7th Street in Chico. It's a size M with black vents and a few scrapes along the rim from a spill, but it looks usable. There’s a small white paw-print sticker on the inner strap and a red duct-tape accent on the inside padding, which should help identify it.
