Found microwave behind the Chattanooga Choo Choo
Today, around 9:15 AM, I found a microwave sitting on a loading cart behind the Chattanooga Choo Choo near Broad Street. It looked recently used, with a few crumbs and a smudge of butter on the door. I carried it to the sidewalk and wiped it down, thinking surely someone is missing their kitchen helper. The moment felt oddly hopeful, like a small piece of someone’s home had wandered into the wrong corner of downtown and found a new moment of safety.
DeWalt 20V drill, yellow housing, dented battery
I lost my DeWalt 20V Max cordless drill yesterday around 3pm near the Chattanooga Choo Choo on Broad Street. It's the yellow and black drill with a 1/2-inch chuck, a few scratches from job sites, and the belt clip is bent. The battery is the original 5Ah and I stuck a blue painter's tape label with my initials 'PP' on the side. It meant a lot—it was a gift from my dad and I use it weekly for DIY projects; I’m really hoping someone picked it up and can return it.
Lost cozy blue paisley-patterned quilt left at Coolidge Park in Chattanooga.
I lost my favorite cozy blue quilt while on a picnic at Coolidge Park in Chattanooga. I must have left it behind on the grass when we got packed up to leave. It's pretty distinct with a paisley pattern, and I’d really love to have it back since it has sentimental value.
