Lost: Travel adapters in Chattanooga, TN

I was winding down at Riverfront Parkway near the Walnut Street Bridge around 8:15 PM on May 18, 2025 when I realized my travel adapters were missing. The compact case held universal adapters that fit grids across Europe and Asia, plus a tiny USB hub I rely on for work trips. I retraced the path from the UTC campus to the riverfront and along the bike lanes, but the adapters didn't turn up. Without them I'm scrambling for chargers on the road, and I hope a honest passerby picked them up and saved my trip.

Lost stamps by Walnut Street Bridge, Chattanooga

I lost a batch of stamps this evening in Chattanooga. Around 6:50 pm yesterday I was leaving Riverfront Park by the Walnut Street Bridge when I realized the stamps were missing from my tote. They are a small collection in a white envelope with a red rubber band, with a few vintage issues and a colorful commemorative or two. They’re not valuable money-wise, but they mean a lot to my mail art project and to a handful of family memories. I retraced my steps along Market Street and checked the benches by the river, the bus stops near the aquarium, and the shop by the convention center, but nothing turned up. If found, I’d be grateful to have them returned through the site.

Found microwave behind the Chattanooga Choo Choo

Today, around 9:15 AM, I found a microwave sitting on a loading cart behind the Chattanooga Choo Choo near Broad Street. It looked recently used, with a few crumbs and a smudge of butter on the door. I carried it to the sidewalk and wiped it down, thinking surely someone is missing their kitchen helper. The moment felt oddly hopeful, like a small piece of someone’s home had wandered into the wrong corner of downtown and found a new moment of safety.

LOST: CDs in Chattanooga

Status: LOST. I lost my CDs around 5:45 PM today near the Walnut Street Bridge in Chattanooga, close to Coolidge Park. They’re a mixed bag of rock and indie tunes, with a few worn cases and one sleeve banded with a red sticker. I remember sitting on a bench near the river and flipping through the liner notes as the light faded. If found, please drop a note on the site so we can reunite them with me.

Red Pearl snare drum with green sticker – lost yesterday

I lost my red Pearl Export snare drum yesterday around 3pm downtown Chattanooga. It’s a 14x5.5 inch shell with a red pearl finish, chrome hardware, and a small dent on the rim from a gig last month. There’s a green sticker inside the shell with the initials 'R.T.' and a couple of light scratches along the edge from road cases. I last had it outside the Chattanooga Choo Choo on Market Street near the crosswalk by the convention center. It’s really meaningful to me because I’ve played with it for years; if anyone found it, please text me and we can meet up to pick it up.

Gold-tone hoops with emerald drop, engraved AS

I lost my gold-tone hoop earrings with a tiny emerald drop yesterday around 3pm. I was walking along Market Street by the Tennessee Aquarium and I think I dropped them while heading toward the Walnut Street Bridge; they could have fallen on the riverfront near Coolidge Park. They're small, about 1 cm hoops, gold-tone plated, with a delicate emerald charm on one hoop. The back of one earring has a tiny engraving 'AS' and the clasp shows a faint scratch. They were a gift from my grandmother, so they're really sentimental to me and I'd be grateful to get them back if anyone finds them around Chattanooga.

Tan Michael Kors tote with MK charm

I lost my tan Michael Kors tote yesterday around 3pm near the Walnut Street Bridge by Riverfront Park on Market Street in downtown Chattanooga. It's a tan pebbled leather tote, about 12 inches wide, with a gold MK charm on the zipper and a burgundy lining that peeks out when I open it. Inside there are a few old family photos and a small leather tag with my initials, 'P.P.'; the bag is in good condition except for a coffee stain on the bottom corner. This bag really has sentimental value—it was a gift from my grandmother, and I really need it back.

Black Boss TU-3 tuner pedal with red sticker

I lost my black Boss TU-3 chromatic tuner pedal yesterday around 4:15pm near the Tennessee Aquarium on Riverfront Parkway, by the Walnut Street Bridge in Chattanooga. It’s about the size of a deck of cards, matte black with a few scratches on the lid, and there’s a bright red sticker with a white smiley face on the top-left corner. This pedal is part of my gig setup and I rely on it to keep my guitar in tune during performances. It has sentimental value—it's a gift from my mentor and means a lot to me. Blue Penguin Classics paperback with yellow sticky note

I found a blue Penguin Classics paperback this afternoon around 2:15pm along the Riverfront in Chattanooga, near the Walnut Street Bridge off Market Street. It's a Penguin Classics edition, slightly creased, with a white spine and a soft cover. Inside, there's a yellow sticky note tucked in the back cover with the initials 'L.H.' and a pressed daisy between pages 42 and 43. A coffee ring marks the bottom edge of page 58. The book looks well-loved and clearly has been read many times; someone clearly cherished it. If you recognize this, I would like to help get it back to its owner.

Lost silver chunky link bracelet

I lost a silver chunky link bracelet on Saturday April 25th - I was all over the downtown area. I have called the shops and restaurants that we were in but was hoping some walking around may have found the bracelet. We walked from Main St Meats to the Choo Choo area - through to the library area and to The Read Hhouse - and then back to our car parked on Main St. It was a great day - so much fun - but the loss of the bracelet is so sad. Anyone find it by chance?

Blue reflective dog collar with bone tag

I lost my blue reflective dog collar yesterday around 6:15pm along Riverfront Parkway near the Walnut Street Bridge in downtown Chattanooga. It's a medium nylon collar, bright electric blue with a silver D-ring. The bone-shaped brass tag is engraved with 'Rex' and has a tiny paw print; there's a small fray on the inner edge from a rough sidewalk. It has sentimental value—Rex's safety tag and a gift from my sister—so I really need it back. My dog gets anxious without his collar, and the tag helps us with ID if he ever runs off. If you found it, please send me a note here; I can meet up around the Riverfront area or arrange pickup in Chattanooga.

Medical alert bracelet found in Chattanooga

I found a medical alert bracelet this morning around 9:15am near the Market Street entrance to the Walnut Street Bridge in downtown Chattanooga. It's a blue silicone strap with a small silver oval tag; the tag is engraved with the name 'J. Rivera' and a phone number that's a bit worn. There’s a tiny white star charm attached near the clasp, and the band shows light wear but is in good shape overall. If someone recognizes it, I’d be glad to hand it back—the owner clearly needs it and would probably be relieved.

It's a thin sterling silver chain about 6.5 inches long, with a small oval amethyst bead and a heart-shaped charm engraved with 'M' on the back. The clasp is a tiny lobster clasp that's a bit worn. Blue plush unicorn with star stickers

I lost my daughter's blue plush unicorn named Starlight yesterday around 3pm. It's about 12 inches tall, soft blue fabric with a white star on the belly, pink inner ears, and a tiny blue ribbon around its neck with 'Starlight' embroidered. I last saw it outside the Chattanooga Choo Choo on Market Street, near the main entrance by the traffic circle, after we stopped for ice cream. This toy is a gift from grandma and means a lot to her, so we’re really hoping someone picked it up and can return it.
