Found dog collars in Cardiff Bay.
Hi, I'm Megan Thomas. I found a bundle of dog collars along the path by Mermaid Quay in Cardiff Bay around 2:15 pm this afternoon. They range from a bright red nylon collar to a weathered leather one, all damp from rain but otherwise intact. I tucked them into my bag and brought them home to post here, hoping the rightful owner will see this listing. The collars look recently used and could belong to a dog rescued in the area; I didn't move or touch anything else.
Tri-color guinea pig with white heart patch
I found a guinea pig this afternoon around 3:15pm by the Roath Park duck pond near the boathouse in Cardiff. It's a tri-color coat, mostly white on the belly and face, with brown along the back and black patches on the sides. There's a distinctive white heart-shaped patch on its back and a tiny notch in its left ear. It looked startled but calm once I spoke to it, and it seemed hungry, sniffing at the lettuce I offered. I think it's someone's pet and I'd love to get it back to its owner—if this is your guinea pig, message me here so we can arrange a handoff near the park gate.
Bright green budgie with blue cheeks found in Cardiff
Found a bright green budgie this afternoon around 4pm near Roath Park Lake, by the boathouse. It's a small parakeet with a yellow head, lime-green body, and blue patches on the cheeks. There’s a tiny orange leg band on the left leg with the number 214. The bird is friendly, chirpy, and seems healthy. I’m in Cardiff and would love to get it back to its owner—I've kept it safe and happy so far and can meet up at a convenient spot for a handover.
