I was rushing to finish a meeting at Cardiff Central Library yesterday, around 4:15 pm, when I think I left my document holders on a chair in the quiet reading area by the reference desk. They’re a slim black leather pair with my initials GE embossed on the front. Inside are a few work notes and some travel documents I need for tomorrow. I’ve checked the cafe and the lobby, but I can’t shake the feeling they’re somewhere in the library. Losing them has me stressed—it’s more than papers, it’s about keeping track of important details for a big presentation next week.

Last Friday around 6:15 p.m., I realized a few pins had vanished from my coat pocket while leaving Cardiff Central Library. The pins are small enamel pieces—two with wildlife motifs and a bright little ship on another—that mattered to me. I must have dropped them somewhere along the library steps or along Westgate Street as I walked toward the pedestrian area. On Friday around 4:45 pm I was leaving a rehearsal on Queen Street in Cardiff when a gust blew my sheet music out of the binder. The papers skittered toward the gates of Cardiff Castle and disappeared near the arcades by the old market. It is a worn stack of printed pages, the cover torn and a red sticker in the corner, with pencil notes in the margins. I have practiced these pieces for months and I am desperate to recover them.

I found a teenage boy wandering near Cardiff Central Station this afternoon, around 2:30pm. He's about 15 to 17, wearing a blue hoodie, grey joggers, and neon yellow trainers, with a red backpack and a panda keychain. He also has a small star tattoo on his right wrist and looks a bit tired and disoriented. I kept him near the taxi rank on Westgate Street while we tried to contact his family; I want to help reunite him with them in Cardiff.
