Lost: Sheet Music by Brunswick Library
On Friday around 5:30 p.m., I was leaving the Brunswick Library on Gloucester Street after a quick practice with a local community group. Somewhere along Main Street, my sheet music must have slipped out of my bag and vanished into the breeze. Those pages mean a lot to me for an upcoming recital, with edits and fingerings I marked in ink. I retraced my steps for a good while and asked at the library, but no one turned them in yet.
Red Yamaha 4/4 violin with blue AR tape on case
Yesterday around 3pm I realized my red Yamaha 4/4 violin was missing, a student model with a sunburst finish, ebony chin rest, and a few light scratches. The black soft-shell case has a tear near the zipper and blue painter’s tape on the lid with my initials AR. I last saw it outside the Brunswick Music Academy on Park Row, near the library on Maine Street, after a quick coffee break. This instrument means a lot to me—it was a gift from my grandmother, and I’d be forever grateful if someone found it.
Silver Yamaha trumpet with initials JL
I lost my silver Yamaha trumpet yesterday around 3pm in front of the Brunswick Public Library on Park Row. It’s a standard Bb trumpet, silver lacquer with a few tiny dings and a noticeable dent near the bell. The mouthpiece is engraved with the initials 'JL', and the case has a faded blue velvet lining. This trumpet was a gift from my band teacher and it really means a lot to me; I’m anxious to get it back to keep practicing for upcoming auditions. If anyone found it, please get in touch—I’d be incredibly grateful.
Red tambourine with blue dragon sticker
I found a red tambourine this afternoon around 3:15pm in the Brunswick Public Library parking lot behind Park Row. It's a 12-inch frame with a glossy red plastic rim, and the jingles are intact. There’s a small hairline crack near the grip and a blue dragon sticker near the edge. I’m hoping to reunite it with its owner—if you recognize it, tell me about the sticker and the crack to confirm.
Lost late grandfather's mahogany violin with engraved initials 'J.D.' in Brunswick Park.
I lost my late grandfather's violin while walking my dog in Brunswick park. It’s a bit worn, with a rich mahogany finish and my initials, 'J.D.', engraved on the back. I really hope someone picks it up. It means the world to me.
