Lost DVDs in Broward County, Florida
I lost a stack of DVDs from my grandmother in Broward County, Florida. I was at a cafe near Sawgrass Mills around 4:15 pm last Saturday, juggling bags and a map, and I must have left them on a chair as I stood to check directions. The cases are plain black with a red sticker that reads 'Family Classics,' and one lid is cracked where the tape peeled off. Losing them hits hard because they carry memories of family movie nights and light up a corner of my living room when I’m lonely.

I found a hardcover copy of '1984' this afternoon around 2:45pm in the parking lot behind Westfield Broward Mall on Broward Boulevard in Plantation, Broward County. It's a sturdy black cloth-bound edition with a red title on the spine, and the dust jacket is a bit creased with a small coffee stain along the bottom edge. Inside the back cover there's a palm-tree bookmark and a short handwritten note that reads, 'For Mia—enjoy!' on the first page, giving it a personal touch. If the owner sees this, I’d love to get it back; we can meet near the mall entrance or the bus stop by the Food Court to hand it over.

I found a blue paperback travel guide this afternoon around 2:15pm outside the Fort Lauderdale Central Library on Broward Boulevard. It's about 320 pages, well-worn, with a coffee stain on the back cover and a sunflower charm bookmark sticking out between pages 128 and 129. There's a small dent on the corner and a pencil note in the margin with the name 'Maria' and a street address I can't quite read. Found this yesterday around 3pm in the parking lot behind the Broward Mall on Broward Blvd in Plantation. It's a yellow paperback travel guide, Lonely Planet Japan, with a creased spine and a slightly rounded corner. Inside the front cover there is a blue bookmark and a small handwritten note that reads 'R.S. - Japan 2023'. I figured someone might be looking for it, especially since the owner taped a sticker with initials on the back cover. If you're missing this, I'd love to help get it back to you.
