I realized I’d lost a bundle of old photographs while running errands in the Beaumont / Port Arthur area around 4:15 p.m. yesterday, near the Jefferson Theatre on Phelan Boulevard in downtown Beaumont. The images are faded but priceless—portraits of my grandparents and a wedding album that can't be replaced. I retraced steps along the riverfront and near the old Calder Street bridge, but they didn't turn up. If you found a weathered folder with black-and-white prints from the 1960s, those memories belong to me and I'd be grateful to recover them.
