Found two paintings near Art Museum of Southeast Texas
Hi, I'm Rebecca Ellis. I found these two paintings Thursday around 4:15 p.m. behind a bench by the Art Museum of Southeast Texas on Franklin Street in Beaumont, in the Beaumont / Port Arthur, Texas area. The wind had loosened their protective wrap, and I picked them up to keep them from getting damaged or stepped on. The frames scrape a little and one canvas has a small scuff, but the colors, deep blues and sunlit gold, still glow. I felt a rush of relief afterward, like I had stopped someone from losing a piece of their story, and I'm posting here in case the owner recognizes them.
Lost felines in Beaumont-Port Arthur
I'm Avery Brooks. I lost my two cats, Luna and Pepper, Friday around 8:40 PM in downtown Beaumont, near the Jefferson Theatre. They slipped out while I was unloading groceries and vanished into the back alleys near the Beaumont Civic Center area; I’ve been calling their names and walking the blocks since then. Luna is a grey tabby with a small white patch on her chest; Pepper is all black with a tiny white whisker on his left side. I keep checking the Port Arthur Seawall and nearby porches, hoping they’ll wander home.
Found: Violins in Beaumont-Port Arthur, TX
Hi, I’m Mateo Ramirez. I found two violins on a bench near the Museum of the Gulf Coast in Port Arthur, Texas, around 4:15 p.m. on Sunday. The case is worn and taped, and the wood shows a few scratches, but the instruments look well-loved; rosin sticks to the strings. It seems someone may have left them behind after practice or a lesson, and I wanted to get them to someone who can take care of them. If you recognize these instruments, please let the site know and we’ll get them back to you.
Lost utensils near Jefferson Street Market, Beaumont-Port Arthur
I was cleaning up after a family cookout around 5:45 p.m. last Friday when I noticed my utensils were missing from the kitchen drawer behind my sister's Beaumont home on Delaware Street, near the Jefferson Street Market. The set includes stainless forks and a dented wooden spatula, all tucked into a tote with a faded blue towel. We had just wrapped the grill and moved inside, and I must have left them there by mistake. It feels silly to be missing something so ordinary, but those tools are part of our favorites when we host friends and family.
Lost: Equipment for Various Sports in Beaumont/Port Arthur.
I was at City Park near the basketball courts around 5:30 p.m. last Friday when I realized my bag of equipment for various sports was missing. It’s a navy nylon bag with white trim, and inside I had a tennis racket, a basketball, shin guards, and a whistle. Losing it put a dent in my weekend plans for practice and pickup games with the kids. I retraced my steps through the park and the adjacent parking lot, but I didn’t find it. I’d be grateful for any information if you found a navy bag with sports gear near City Park.
Lost collars in Beaumont-Port Arthur, TX
I lost two collars from my dog during a walk along the Port Arthur Seawall near the 11th Street fishing pier, around 6:15 PM last Friday. One is a bright neon orange nylon collar with a chipped buckle; the other is a navy blue fabric collar with a small, faded tag. They’re more than gear to me — they helped me keep track of him during our Texas outings, and I keep replaying the gust of wind that sent them sliding off. If you found them, please leave a note on this posting so I can arrange pickup through the site.
Found Devices in Beaumont / Port Arthur, Texas
Hi, I’m Jamie Brooks. I found a backpack containing a laptop, a tablet, a smartwatch, and a charger behind the Jefferson Theatre in Beaumont around 4:45 PM yesterday. The street along Texas Avenue was busy with traffic, and the bag looked left behind in a way that said someone needed it soon. I kept it safe on a nearby bench and asked a couple passersby, but no one claimed it. I hope this helps the owner—we all rely on our devices more than we realize.
Found power tools in Beaumont
I found these power tools this morning around 9:30 a.m. in Beaumont, near the Central Mall parking lot by the Sears entrance. I checked for any tags or stickers, but nothing tied them to an owner. It felt right to hold onto them and post this so the rightful owner has a chance to reclaim them. If this is yours, please claim it through the site.
lost photographs in Beaumont / Port Arthur
I realized I’d lost a bundle of old photographs while running errands in the Beaumont / Port Arthur area around 4:15 p.m. yesterday, near the Jefferson Theatre on Phelan Boulevard in downtown Beaumont. The images are faded but priceless—portraits of my grandparents and a wedding album that can't be replaced. I retraced steps along the riverfront and near the old Calder Street bridge, but they didn't turn up. If you found a weathered folder with black-and-white prints from the 1960s, those memories belong to me and I'd be grateful to recover them.
Lost CDs near Parkdale Mall, Beaumont
I was leaving Parkdale Mall around 7:15 p.m. last Thursday when I realized my favorite CDs were gone from my tote. The case was a slim black one with a tiny sticker of a blue wave; inside were classic rock and indie picks I’d stocked for road trips. I retraced my steps through the mall parking rows and checked the benches by the coffee shop, but nothing turned up. These CDs carry memories of high school road trips and late-night jams with friends, and losing them felt like misplacing a small part of my past. If they ever surface, I’d be beyond grateful.
Orange bearded dragon named Nova, lost yesterday
Yesterday around 3pm I realized Nova was missing after I stopped near the Jefferson Theatre area on College Street in Beaumont. Nova is a 12-inch bearded dragon, bright orange and tan with a cream belly, and a distinctive light blue stripe along her tail. She was in a small glass terrarium with a red heat lamp and wears a tiny blue microchip tag on her tail; you can also spot a crescent-shaped scar above her left nostril. She's usually calm and incredibly curious, and she means the world to my family—she was a Christmas gift from my daughter. If you spot her, please message me here; I’d really appreciate it.
Sony PS5 Digital Edition with blue controller
I lost my Sony PlayStation 5 Digital Edition yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks on Calder Ave in Beaumont, not far from Parkdale Mall. It's the white, slim Digital Edition with a small scratch along the top edge and a blue silicone grip on the DualSense controller. I had stuck a galaxy-style sticker on the console and wrapped the HDMI cable around the stand, so those tiny details might help identify it. This console means a lot to me — it was a gift from my sister, and I really need it back.
Red iPhone 12 in clear case
I lost my red iPhone 12 yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks on Calder Street in Beaumont. It's the 6.1-inch model, in a clear bumper case with a cracked bottom corner and a lime-green charity sticker on the back; the screen protector is peeling. I really need it back—it's my work phone and has some photos of my mom and grandma. If anyone found it, please message me here and I can describe it in more detail.
Gold-tone bracelet with heart charm
I was at the Parkdale Mall parking lot near the food court yesterday around 3pm and realized my bracelet was gone. It's a slim gold-tone bracelet, about 6.5 inches, with a small heart charm engraved 'Mom' and a tiny initial 'A' charm. The finish is slightly brushed and there are light scratches on the clasp from wear. It was a gift from my grandmother and has sentimental value, so I’m really hoping someone turned it in. If you found it, I’d be grateful to get it back through the app.
Blue Anker Soundcore mini speaker with dent
I lost my blue Anker Soundcore mini speaker yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks on Dowlen Road in Beaumont. It's a compact speaker about the size of a small soda can, with a small dent on the top edge and a detachable black USB-C cable that was looped around the charging port. The body is blue anodized aluminum, with a white logo on the front. It has sentimental value because I use it daily for work calls and late-night playlists, and I really need it back.
