LOST postcards in Baton Rouge, LA
I lost a folder of postcards on Friday at 4:15 p.m., after a stroll along River Road in downtown Baton Rouge. I stopped on a bench near the Old State Capitol to rest and show a friend the cards. We got up and walked away, and I realized the folder had vanished from the bench. The stack includes travel postcards from a family trip and a few handwritten notes I'm hoping to keep. I'm hoping someone picked it up and kept it safe by the Capitol steps, where the brick catches the sun in late afternoon.
Lost USB Drives near Capitol Park Museum Baton Rouge
Today around 2:20 p.m., I left two USB drives in a small black case on the desk in my office on Government Street, not far from the Capitol Park Museum. I had been reviewing a client project and ran downstairs to grab coffee, and I fear I forgot them when I returned. The drives contain drafts and backups I can't replace easily, and I'm hoping someone picked up the case and left it somewhere safe near the building's foyer. If you find them, please know how important they are to me.

I accidentally left my copy of 'Beloved' by Toni Morrison at a coffee shop in downtown Baton Rouge last weekend. It has my name written in the inside cover along with a few heartfelt notes in the margins. I really hope to get it back as it holds a lot of sentimental value for me.
