Lost postcards in Midtown Atlanta, near Centennial Park.
I lost my postcards after a sunset stroll around Centennial Olympic Park around 7:45 p.m. last Friday. They’re a small bundle of city-scene postcards, tied with a red string, with a sketch of the skyline on the front. I’d been wearing a blue denim jacket and a beige scarf, and I remember sitting briefly on a bench near the fountain outside the Omni hotel before heading toward the Varsity for a quick bite. The wind picked up, and when I retraced the path, the bundle was gone. These postcards mean a lot to me; one card carries my grandmother's handwriting. If found, I’d be grateful to have them returned.
Found iPhone 12 with mint green case
I found a digital iPhone 12 this morning around 9:15 am along the BeltLine Eastside Trail near Piedmont Park, right at the Monroe Drive/10th Street corner in Midtown Atlanta. It's in a mint green silicone case and has a cracked bottom edge; the screen shows a Braves wallpaper and a small cat sticker on the lock screen—pretty distinctive. I couldn't unlock it, so I couldn't call or message, but the device seems important and maybe sentimental. If you’re missing an iPhone 12 with that case, please reach out so I can get it back to you.
Red cloth-bound edition of The Night Circus
I lost my red cloth-bound edition of The Night Circus yesterday around 3pm outside the Fox Theatre on Peachtree Street NE in Midtown Atlanta. It's a 2012 edition with gilt lettering on the spine, slightly bent corners, and a coffee ring on the back cover. Inside, there's a pencil note on page 23 and a tiny moon doodle on page 112—two little identifiers that help me tell it apart. Since it was a gift from my sister and means a lot to me, I’d really appreciate it being returned if you saw it.
