Lost: Brooches in Alaska
I was at the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center around 2:15 p.m. last Friday when I realized my two silver brooches with a turquoise stone were missing from the inside pocket of my coat. They were small but meaningful: one shaped like a pinecone, the other a leaf pattern. I retraced my steps along 5th Avenue and checked the museum lobby, the gift shop, and the bus stop outside, but nothing turned up yet. I keep hoping someone picked them up and left them somewhere safe because their value is sentimental more than anything. If you saw them near the museum or along the Alaska Railroad Depot area in downtown Anchorage, please let me know.
Gold-tone crescent necklace with sapphire charm
I lost my gold-tone crescent necklace yesterday around 3pm near the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center on 625 C St. It's a slim curb chain about 20 inches long, with a small crescent moon pendant that has a tiny sapphire set at the tip. The back is engraved with a single initial 'A'. The chain looks slightly worn but still in good condition. It has sentimental value; my late grandmother gave it to me, and I've worn it almost every day since. If anyone found it, please let me know; it means a lot to me.
Silver ring with emerald stone, initials inside
I lost my silver ring with an emerald centerpiece yesterday around 3pm near the Anchorage Museum on 7th Ave downtown. It's a slim, 6mm band, sterling silver, with a small oval emerald set in a subtle bezel. On the inside there are the initials 'PK' engraved, and thereโs a tiny scratch by the setting from a fall last winter. It means a lot to me because it was a gift from my grandmother; it has sentimental value and I really hope to get it back!
Lost silver locket necklace with delicate engraved design near Flattop Mountain, Anchorage.
I lost a beautiful silver locket necklace while I was hiking near Flattop Mountain in Anchorage. It has a delicate engraved design and is quite special to me as it was a gift from my grandmother. I last remember having it on when I stopped for a break, but when I realized it was missing, I retraced my steps but couldnโt find it anywhere. If anyone has seen it or picked it up, I would appreciate it if you could let me know!
