They’re tiny, one brown and white, the other gray with a white belly. I sprinted through the apartment, checked under the sofa, behind the TV stand, even out on the porch, but they vanished. They’re incredibly quick and fearless, and I’m overwhelmed with worry. These two are my apartment family, and I miss their squeaks and their little wheel spins.
