Found Driver's License in Anchorage area
I found a driver's license on the sidewalk near the Captain Cook Hotel in downtown Anchorage around 8:20 p.m. on a chilly Tuesday. The rain had just started and the city lights glinted off the wet pavement as I checked the name on the card. I imagined the person who lost it might be anxious, and I felt a surge of relief knowing it could be theirs. I kept it safe and turned it in here so the owner can reclaim it through the site.
Navy blue U.S. passport with gold crest, lost
I misplaced my navy blue U.S. passport yesterday around 5:15pm after wandering out of the Anchorage Museum area on West 7th Ave. It’s the standard navy book with the gold seal, and I keep it in a black leather passport holder that’s a bit scuffed along the spine. There’s a tiny coffee stain on the back cover, and the inner sleeve has a small mountain sticker I put there for luck. I really need it back soon—I've got travel plans next week and this is my only form of ID for the trip. If anyone found it, please reach out; I’ll recognize it by the coffee mark on the back and the mountain sticker inside the sleeve.
