I lost my navy blue memory-foam travel neck pillow yesterday around 3pm near the Gazebo at the Northampton Town Common on Main Street in Northampton, MA. It's a well-used pillow from a generic brand, slightly dented on one side, and it has a small red heart sticker on the strap plus a faint lavender scent. It’s sentimental to me because it came from a friend who traveled with me last summer. If you found it, I’d really appreciate getting it back—email me at [email protected] and we can arrange a pickup near Main Street.
I lost my gold-tone hoop earrings with moonstone charms yesterday around 3pm near The Green Street Café on Main Street in Northampton. They’re tiny hoops about 12mm across, each with a delicate moonstone teardrop dangled from the hoop. One charm has a tiny blue flash in direct sunlight, and the hoop itself has light wear from daily use. The left earring has a barely noticeable scratch on the outside edge. They were a gift from my sister last year and mean a lot to me—I wear them almost every day. If anyone found them, I’m really hoping to get them back; they’re sentimental and I really need them back.
I lost my gold ring yesterday around 3pm near Thornes Market on Main Street in Northampton. It’s a slim 14k yellow gold band, about 3mm wide, with a small bezel-set sapphire that catches the light. Inside the band there’s an engraving 'P.P.' and a couple of tiny scratches from daily wear. The ring was a gift from my grandmother and means the world to me, so I’m really hoping it’s found. I was walking toward City Hall Park after grabbing coffee when I realized it was gone. If anyone found it, please reach out — I’d be forever grateful.
I lost my navy blue North Face parka, men's large, with a removable faux-fur hood, yesterday around 3pm near Thornes Marketplace on Main Street in Northampton, Western Massachusetts. It's in decent condition overall, but the faux-fur hood is a little matted from rain. There's a small coffee stain on the inner lining near the chest pocket, and the bright red lining makes it easy to spot. This jacket has sentimental value because it was a gift from my mom, and I really need it back before winter. If you found it, please drop me a note at [email protected]—I’d be forever grateful to be reunited with it.
I lost my blue hardcover field guide to birds of the Northeast yesterday around 3pm near the Northampton Public Library on Main Street. It's a 2008 edition with a bright orange ribbon bookmark and a small coffee stain on the back cover. Inside, there's a faded sticker under the front flyleaf with my initials PP and a note I wrote when I first bought it; also there's a folded map tucked in the back pocket. It matters to me because it was a gift from my late grandfather, and I use it for weekend birding trips around the Valley. If anyone found it, I’d really appreciate getting it back so I can keep exploring.
I found a cockatiel this afternoon around 3:15pm near the Forest Park entrance on Belmont Ave in Springfield, MA. It's a gray bird with a bright yellow crest and orange cheek patches, and it has a tiny silver leg band engraved 'MA-304'. The bird seemed calm, perched on the grass near the carousel, and it doesn't appear hurt or scared, just curious. It clearly belongs to someone since it’s well cared for, and I’m hoping to reunite it with its owner. If this sounds like your bird, the band number and that distinctive crest are good identifiers.
I found a pair of blue Nike running shoes this afternoon around 2:15pm behind the basketball courts by the gym at Smith College, on Elm Street in Northampton. They’re a men's size 9, blue with a white Nike swoosh and a pink heel tab. The left shoe has a small scuff on the toe and the laces are frayed; the right shoe has a faint mud stain along the sole. They were sitting near a bike rack by the field, easy to spot once you know the area. If you recognize these, I’d love to get them back to their owner.
I found a white ceramic teapot with a blue floral pattern this afternoon around 2:15pm in the back alley behind Smith College's Campus Center on Elm Street in Northampton, Western Massachusetts. The teapot is about the size of a 4-cup pot, with a glossy glaze and a small chip on the rim and a tiny crack near the spout. It has a wooden lid knob and, on the bottom, a pencil-mark initial 'L' that looks like someone’s ID. It feels well-loved, and it smells faintly of tea, like someone made a comforting pot just yesterday. If you know who it belongs to, I’d be happy to hand it back.
I found a black leather briefcase last Thursday afternoon outside of Brewed Awakening in Northampton, Western Massachusetts. It has some wear and tear, and inside there are a few documents along with a distinct red notebook. I believe it belongs to a graduate student due to the materials inside. If you recognize it, please reach out to me so I can return it to its owner.
I discovered a little brown hamster while cleaning up in my backyard in Western Massachusetts. It seems friendly and has a tiny red collar on. I think it must have escaped from someone’s home, as I often see small animals around here but never a pet hamster. I'm hoping to reunite it with its owner as soon as possible.
