I found a bag of utensils on the WIU campus quad in Macomb around 4:45 pm today. The collection includes forks and spoons in a small black zippered pouch, mix-and-match handles, and a few disposable plastic pieces. It looked like someone grabbed a quick bite between classes and dropped the kit along the path. I handed it to the lost-and-found box by the student-center entrance and kept an eye on it for a bit, hoping the owner would see this. It felt odd to stumble onto someone else’s kitchen tools, but I’m glad to help.

On Tuesday around 8:45 PM I was leaving the WIU University Center and headed toward the Macomb downtown area, realizing my two desk lamps were still in my apartment when I got home. They’re mismatched but beloved: one brass base with a cream shade, the other a black base and a slightly taller shade. They’ve been my late-night study companions for a couple of years, and the thought of them staying behind is hard. I lost my DeWalt 20V cordless drill yesterday around 3pm near the Walmart Supercenter on East Main Street in Macomb, IL. The drill is black and yellow, with a few scratches on the chuck and a cracked yellow battery cap, and there are two 20V batteries plus the charger in a red hard-shell carrying case. There’s a blue painter’s tape label on the top with my initials 'PP' and a small dent on the corner of the case. It’s the drill I’ve used for my home remodel and, honestly, it has sentimental value—my grandfather gave me this set years ago. If anyone finds it, I’d really appreciate getting it back.
