Last Friday around 7:20 p.m., I realized my handheld game console and a smaller portable device were missing near the Capitol Market in downtown Charleston. They were in a charcoal carry pouch inside my backpack, a handheld device with a blue sticker and an old-school game console with a gray shell. I had been visiting family nearby, and the crowd thinned as I walked to the car; that’s when it hit me they weren’t in my bag anymore. This wobbling feeling lingers because those gadgets keep me sane after long shifts, and I’m hoping someone found them and kept them safe.

On the lid there’s a tiny peeling cat sticker that’s hard to miss if you’re looking for it. It still works and projects fine, but it’s tied to our weekend movie nights and a few work demos, so I’m really hoping someone picked it up and can bring it back.
