Lost CDs in old West Virginia
Last Saturday around 3:30 PM, I think I left my CDs somewhere near Capitol Market in Charleston, West Virginia. They aren’t just a stack of tunes to me; those discs carry memories from road trips with friends and the soundtracks of long drives. They were in a silver case with a dent in the corner, tucked beside a bench by the coffee cart. I feel a bit panicked about losing them, and I’d be grateful for any sighting near the market stalls or the plaza if someone picked them up.

On Sunday at 3:45 PM, I realized my postcard collection had disappeared from my tote after I stopped by Capitol Market in Charleston to pick up stamps. The stack includes cards from family trips and a note from my grandfather. I probably dropped them along Capitol Street or along the riverfront walkway by the market. They carry memories of summers and small-town visits, and I’d love to have them back so the stories can be told again.
