The blue engine and red caboose looked a little dusty, like it had rolled away from a kid's backpack. It felt sad to see something so ordinary left behind, so I picked it up and kept it safe, hoping the owner would recognize it soon. I'm hoping someone found my blue student ID card yesterday around 3pm. I left it outside the Baylor Bookstore on 5th Street in Waco, by the entrance near the fountain. It's a blue PVC card about the size of a credit card, with a tiny vertical scratch across the photo and a small notch in the lower-right corner. This ID opens campus buildings and bus passes, so I'm really worried about losing it and missing access to classes.

The Baylor ID is in a blue neoprene sleeve attached to a bright red lanyard, with my name partially visible as 'Priya P.' The Texas license has a small dent in the upper left corner and a faint coffee stain along the edge. They were in the inner pocket of my gray windbreaker after I grabbed a quick bite downtown. This set is important to me for campus access and driving, so I’d really appreciate getting them back.
