Lost & found earrings in Vermont

Lost hoops in Burlington’s Church Street Marketplace.

On Friday at 5:15 PM, I was strolling along Church Street Marketplace in downtown Burlington, Vermont, after grabbing a coffee near the Flynn Center. I lost my hoops when I checked my bag a few minutes later. They are silver hoops with a tiny pinecone charm, a bit bent from a tumble last winter. I retraced my steps past the farmers market stalls, along the brick lanes, and to the bench by City Hall Park, hoping someone picked them up. They were a small comfort during a rough week, and I miss them already.
