Found shoes near Church Street Marketplace, Burlington, VT

Found these shoes this morning near the Church Street Marketplace in Burlington, Vermont, at about 9:15 a.m. I was walking my dog along the sidewalk when I spotted a pair of sneakers tucked under a bench by the old red brick storefronts. They look lightly worn and clean, as if someone just set them down and forgot them. I picked them up and left them on a railing near the bus stop so they wouldn’t get stepped on, hoping the owner would see this post. It feels good to help reunite someone with a small piece of their everyday life.
