Lost DVDs in Ventura County, CA
Last Tuesday at 8:45 p.m., I was walking through The Promenade at RiverPark in Oxnard, Ventura County, when I realized my two DVDs were missing from my backpack. I had tucked them into a small white case labeled with a sticker of a rocket, and I must have set the case down on a bench outside The Market at RiverPark while I paused to text a friend. The scent of popcorn from the cinema mingled with the salty air, and the benches along the promenade became a blur as I moved on. Losing those discs feels silly, but they’re my comfort movies, and I hope someone found and kept them safe.
Black Samsung T7 1TB SSD with 'AK' sticker
I lost my black Samsung T7 1TB portable SSD yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks on Main Street in Ventura, in Ventura County. It's part of my Digital Media stash—video edits, travel vlogs, and a few client reels. The drive is palm-sized with a black aluminum shell and a white sticker on the back that reads 'AK'; there’s also a tiny dent on the top edge from a backpack zipper. The front Samsung logo is a bit scuffed too. I really need it back—it's not just data, it holds work and memories from recent trips I can’t replace.
