Found swimsuit near Utica Public Library
Hi, I'm Grace Carter. This morning around 9:15, I found a swimsuit in the Utica area, near the Utica Public Library on Genesee Street. It was lying on the grass by the library entrance, still damp from the early dew. It's a women's blue one-piece with a white stripe; I checked for a quick sign of ownership, but nothing obvious. I picked it up and turned it in here, hoping the owner sees this listing soon. It looked recently left behind—perhaps after a swim at a local pool or a jog along the canal. If it's yours, I hope you see this and reclaim it.

Lost backpack with passport and iPhone
I lost my backpack on Barton Ave in Utica. Inside it was my Brazilian passport in the name of João Vitor Barbosa Bontempo, as well as an iPhone 13.
Lost: Saxophones in Utica area
I was wrapping up a late rehearsal by 9:45 p.m., stepping out near the Utica Public Library on Genesee Street, and realized my two saxophones were missing from the back seat. The two instruments live in battered cases—one gold lacquer alto, one silver tenor—with a few stickers from past tours. I’ve played on plenty of stages around the region, and losing them feels personal. If you found them anywhere near Union Station or the Adirondack Bank Center, please help me get them back through the site.
Found carry-ons near Utica Union Station.
I was walking back to my car at 6:20 pm on a chilly Tuesday when I spotted a pair of carry-ons left unattended on a bench near the Utica Union Station. They were black with a faded red tag and looked like they’d seen a few layovers. I checked quickly for a name tag and found nothing obvious, just a pocket full of travel receipts and a folded map. The scene felt honest and ordinary, the kind of moment that makes you pause: a cold breeze, a city bus sighing to a stop, and the streetlight buzzing to life. I brought them inside the station and left them at the information desk with a simple note about the time and place I found them, hoping the owner comes forward soon.
Found: Utensils near Utica Public Library
On a gray Saturday afternoon, I found a small blue utensil roll outside the Utica Public Library on Genesee Street in Utica-Rome-Oneida, New York. The roll held a fork, a knife, a worn spatula, and a dented measuring spoon, all set neatly as if someone had just paused for a quick break. It was around 3:15 p.m., near the library’s front steps, with the canal breeze carrying the echoes of footsteps. It felt like a tiny clue in someone’s routine day, maybe after cooking for a simple meal after class or work. I’m posting it in case the rightful owner wanders by and recognizes the scene.

Found photo with faint handwriting on back
Found this photo laying on the side of Perimeter Road In Rome, NY. There is faint writing on the back and I believe I was able to make out everything except for one word and the exact year. It reads. "Dick and Betsy Hardy taken New Years Day after the dance 195? Wasn't able to make out the final digit. Be a shame if this photo was lost forever.
LOST: Drones near Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute
On Friday at 4:15 p.m., I was testing two compact drones near the Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute in Utica. This is a LOST item, and I set them on a bench while I adjusted the camera, then stepped away to fetch a jacket from my car. When I turned back, a gust of wind had blown them toward Genesee Street and they were gone. I’m anxious about where they landed and hopeful someone who found them will recognize they’re mine; those blinking lights mean a lot after a long week of shooting around this area.
Found travel adapters near Union Station
I'm Jordan Bell. I found travel adapters on a bench near Utica's Union Station around 2:15 PM this afternoon. They were in a small black pouch with a few cords poking out and a bright red tag. I picked them up and turned them in at the Utica Public Library desk so the owner could reclaim them. The moment I realized someone might be missing their adapters, I felt glad to help.
Lost: Sports Equipment in Utica
I was at the Utica Memorial Auditorium area, near the Adirondack Bank Center, on Tuesday at 6:40 PM after a casual pickup game. I set my black duffel down on a bench by the entrance while I tied my laces, and when I stood up, the bag was gone. Inside are gear for multiple sports — two tennis rackets, a folded yoga mat, a bright blue water bottle, and a dusty whistle. This equipment is used for weekend leagues and a charity scrimmage in Rome, so losing it hit hard. If it turns up, I would be grateful to get it back through the site.
Lost two toasters near Utica Public Library
On Monday around 9:05 AM, I was unloading donations for a small community kitchen event at the Utica Public Library on Genesee Street when I realized two small white toasters were missing from the back seat of my pickup. They’re two-slice models with chrome trim; one has a tiny dent on the corner and a crusty crumb tray. The other is pristine but scratched along the side. I’d been in and out all morning, so I’m hoping someone found them in the library parking lot or near the loading dock. They’d really help our setup.
Lost DVDs in Utica area
Friday around 6:45 p.m. I realized my stack of DVDs wasn’t in my tote after a quick chat with a friend near the Utica Public Library on Genesee Street. The case is a worn navy blue with a torn label that reads 'Best of the 90s,' and a green sticker I stuck on years ago. I must have set it down on a chair outside the library's entrance while I stood listening to a street musician. Those discs cover my late mom's favorites, and they've become comfort during rough weeks. I'm hopeful someone turned them in or picked them up, and I'll get them back soon.
Lost sheet music from recital
Last Friday around 7:20 p.m., I was leaving a small practice session outside the Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute in Utica, and I left a stack of sheet music on a bench. The pages cover two classical pieces and some personal notes I scribbled after rehearsal. I must have stepped away to adjust my chair, because when I turned back the music was gone. Those sheets are important to me—handwritten edits and a few cues I need for Tuesday’s recital. If you found a bundle of sheet music on Mohawk Street near the Utica Public Library steps, please keep it safe.
Found pins in Utica-Rome-Oneida, NY
I found a small bag of pins on Thursday afternoon around 4:20 PM while walking along Broad Street in Utica, near the Stanley Theater. The pins include enamel designs in several colors, some with local sports logos and others just pretty little pieces. I kept them in a safe spot and posted here, hoping the rightful owner sees this and can reclaim them through the site.
Silver-tone heart necklace found near Genesee Street
I found a silver-tone heart pendant necklace this afternoon around 3:15pm in the parking lot behind the Stanley Theater on Genesee Street in Utica. The chain is delicate and about 18 inches long, with a heart pendant roughly the size of a thumbnail. There's a tiny engraving on the back that reads 'MK', which seems like a personal touch someone might have added. The necklace is in good condition aside from a few micro-scratches along the chain, and it clearly seemed well-loved. If this is yours, email me with a description of the engraving and when you last wore it, and we can meet up near Genesee Street to verify—I'd really like to reunite it with its owner.
Silver Timex Weekender watch with black dial
I lost my silver Timex Weekender yesterday around 3pm. It’s a silver-tone watch with a black dial and white numerals, plus a red second hand that’s easy to spot. The leather strap is worn but still clean, with navy stitching along the edges. On the back there are initials 'P.N.' engraved, and there’s a tiny scratch near the 2 o'clock position from a drop last week. I think I must have slipped it off while I stopped for a quick coffee at a shop on Genesee Street in downtown Utica, just around the corner from Court Street. It means a lot to me—it was a gift from my grandmother, and I’m really hoping it’s returned to me. If you’ve seen it, a message here would help a lot.
