Dark sunburst violin in black hard-shell case
Found a full-size violin this afternoon around 4:15 pm on Front Street near the Ore Dock in Marquette, Upper Peninsula. It's inside a black hard-shell case with a red velvet interior and a slightly scuffed latch. The violin has a warm amber sunburst finish, a tiny dent on the rim near the chin rest, and the bow is wrapped in turquoise tape, which makes it easy to spot. Inside the lid there's a faded sticker with the initials 'C.S.' and a small heart doodle. Silver Yamaha trumpet found behind NMU Bookstore.
I found a silver Yamaha trumpet this afternoon around 2:15 pm in the parking lot behind the NMU Bookstore on Presque Isle Ave in Marquette. It's a full-size trumpet, silver lacquer with gold-colored valve caps and a small dent near the third valve slide. The bell has a delicate floral engraving and there's a blue hard case with a cracked latch that fits snugly around it, along with a white cleaning cloth wedged inside. I know instruments can mean a lot to a player, and I’d really like to help reunite it with its owner who might be practicing for band season in the Upper Peninsula.

Found this afternoon around 2:15pm in the parking lot behind Blackrocks Brewery on Front Street in Marquette, Upper Peninsula. It's a Planet Waves capo, black with a bright blue grip, compact and in good condition except for a tiny dent on the chrome hinge. There's a small sticker on the inside with the initials JP, which might help identify the owner. I figured someone might be missing it and would want it back; I’d be happy to return it to its owner.
