Lost dining chairs from my kitchen set.
I was hosting a quiet dinner at my apartment near the Gateway Arch, and around 7:45 pm on Friday I stepped out to grab a bag of ice. When I returned, four wooden chairs from my dining set were gone from the kitchen. They’re simple chairs with blue cushions and a small scratch on the back of one chair. They mean a lot to me because they were my grandmother’s and have seen many family gatherings, so I’m hoping they’re nearby somewhere safe. If you saw anything around downtown St. Louis after 7:45 pm Friday, please think of them as part of our family meals.
Gray quilted throw blanket found near Union Station
I found a gray quilted throw blanket this afternoon around 2:15pm outside Union Station's main entrance on 18th Street, by the Amtrak platform. It's about 60x70 inches, thick quilted fabric with darker gray piping along the edges, and a bit of pilling from use. In the lower-right corner there's a small blue embroidery patch with the initials HL, plus a faint coffee ring mark in the center. The blanket looks well-loved, clean, and has no strong odors. I lost my white iPad Pro 11-inch yesterday around 3pm, after I was sitting on a bench along Market Street by Citygarden in downtown St. Louis. It’s in a gray Apple Smart Cover, and on the back there’s a small blue sticker with the initials 'AR.' There’s also a tiny dent along the bottom edge from a drop last week. I keep notes for work and a few family photos on it, so it’s not just a gadget—it has sentimental value and I really need it back.
