Scarves LOST near the New River Gorge Bridge overlook.
I was hiking in Southern West Virginia around 6:15 p.m. last Friday when I lost my scarf from my jacket. It’s a cream-colored wool scarf with a thin blue stripe and a tiny snag near the edge. I retraced the River Trail to the Canyon Rim Overlook, checked the parking area by the small cafe, and even wandered along the railing, but it wasn’t there. It sounds silly, but losing it felt like losing a small friend on a chilly evening. If someone picked it up, please know it’s loved and I’d be grateful for its safe return.

They're size 9, low-cut, with a white swoosh that’s worn thin and a blue paint speck on the left heel, plus a tiny fray at the toe. They’re pretty well-worn from daily use, and they’ve got sentimental value because they were a gift from my mom before I started college. I lost my favorite blue denim jacket while hiking on the trails around Southern WV last weekend. It has some cool patches on the sleeves and is a little worn out but holds a lot of memories.
