FOUND: Memory cards near Mendenhall Trail, Juneau
I found a small waterproof case tucked under a spruce along the Mendenhall Trail around 7:15 p.m. last Saturday, near the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center. Inside were several memory cards, along with a few photos from a summer road trip and a short notebook with a blog draft. I felt a mix of relief and responsibility—these are someone’s memories, after all. I left the case in a dry spot near the trailhead and hope the owner sees this post and can reclaim them through the site.
Nintendo Switch OLED in gray case with purple whale sticker
I lost my Nintendo Switch OLED in a gray protective case with a purple whale sticker on the back, plus a green silicone grip on the left Joy-Con. I last had it yesterday around 3pm outside the Alaska State Museum on Front Street in Juneau, Southeast Alaska, after I grabbed a coffee at a little cafe nearby. The device is in decent shape, but the screen has a few faint scratches and there's a tiny dent in the bottom-right corner from a stumble. This console is a gift from my sister, and it really means a lot to me—I'm hoping to get it back soon.
Lost black wireless Bluetooth headphones with personalized engraving near a waterfall in Tongass National Forest.
I lost my black wireless Bluetooth headphones while hiking in the Tongass National Forest last weekend. They might have slipped out of my backpack when I stopped for a break near the waterfall. They are very important to me as they have a personalized engraving on the side.
