Last Tuesday at 4:45 p.m. I realized my travel adapters were missing from my backpack while standing outside the Studebaker National Museum on Michigan Street in South Bend, Indiana. I had just finished a quick coffee and was headed toward the riverfront when I noticed the gap in my bag. The adapters are the universal kind with a black body and a red ring; nothing fancy, but essential for my conference next week. I’ve checked the nearby benches and the cafe, retraced my steps along West Washington Street, but they’re nowhere to be found. It’s frustrating, and I’d really appreciate finding them.

It was a gift from my sister, so it has sentimental value and I really need it back. If found, I’d be grateful to reunite with it—it helps me sleep on long trips.
