I found these DVDs while wandering along the St. Joseph Riverwalk near Century Center in South Bend around 3:15 PM on Tuesday. I picked them up thinking someone might have dropped them, and the cases show a mix of sci-fi and family films, with a few still sealed. I hope the rightful owner sees this post and claims what's theirs—these discs looked like someone’s movie nights waiting to happen.
Blue Penguin Classics hardcover mystery with owl bookmark
I lost my blue Penguin Classics hardcover mystery edition yesterday around 3pm, outside the South Bend Public Library on Main Street near the fountain. It's a sturdy 320-page book with a slightly dented spine and a coffee ring on the bottom edge. I always use a small silver owl bookmark tucked between pages, and it's a feature the book-reading friends would notice. It was a gift from my mom and it means a lot to me—comfort during long bus rides home. If anyone found it, please reach out; I really need it back.
Blue paperback novel found near Michigan Street, South Bend
I found a blue paperback novel this afternoon around 2:15 pm outside the Century Center on Michigan Street in South Bend. It's a standard 6x9 inch mass-market paperback, with a creased cover and a spine that's a little cracked from use. The blue cover has white lettering and a subtle snowflake design, and a pink ribbon bookmark sticks out between pages around the middle. On the inside of the front cover there’s a small sticky note with the initials 'A.G.' that might help identify the owner. It looks well-loved but readable, and I’d hate for someone to be without it.
