Brass compass with leather case, initials KL

I lost my small brass compass, about the size of a silver dollar, in a black leather case with a crack along the seam. The compass is brass with a warm patina and the back is etched with my initials 'KL'. I think I had it yesterday around 3pm outside the Chevron on Main Street in Yreka, Siskiyou County, after a quick stop. The leather is a little worn and there’s a tiny dent on the rim, plus a tiny green paint speck near the hinge from a previous repair. It was a gift from my grandfather and it feels sentimental—really hoping to get it back.
