Lost Coins in Shreveport, Louisiana
I was walking along the Shreveport Riverfront near Esplanade Street at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, when a gust swept from my pocket and a handful of coins skittered across the concrete. I gathered most of them, but a copper penny and a small coin with my grandfather's WWII service dates are still missing. Those coins feel like a piece of family history I can’t replace. I hope they’re nearby, waiting to be found by someone who understands. If you found them, please send a note through the site so I can reunite them with their memories.
Red Nike running shoes, size 9, white swoosh
I lost my red Nike running shoes, size 9, yesterday around 3pm near the Walmart on Youree Drive in Shreveport. They’re a lightweight pair with a white Nike swoosh and a black sole, red mesh upper, and I swapped the laces to bright blue. There’s a small scuff on the outer left heel and a tiny blue paint dot on the inside of the tongue. They were a gift from my sister, so they mean a lot to me and I really need to get them back. If you found them, please message me and we can arrange a pickup in Shreveport.
Framed oil painting with red poppies
I lost my framed oil painting yesterday around 3pm. It's an 18x24 inch canvas of red poppies in a blue vase, set in an ornate gold-leaf frame with some wear along the bottom edge. The colors are bold—deep reds, bright yellows, and a cool grey background—and there's a tiny crescent-shaped craquelure in the top-left corner that makes it unique. I last had it near the Starbucks on Youree Drive in Shreveport, and I think I left it on a bench outside after chatting with a barista. It means a lot to me—it was a gift from my aunt—and I really need it back.
Lost watercolor painting of a vibrant sunset over the lake in a simple wooden frame, left at Riverfront Park in Shreveport.
I lost a lovely watercolor painting that captures a vibrant sunset over the lake, while visiting Riverfront Park in Shreveport. It has a simple wooden frame, and it painted by my late grandmother. I accidentally left it propped against a tree while I took some photos, and when I came back, it was gone. It holds a lot of sentimental value, and I would love to get it back.
