The pages are worn and creased, with a faded cover that reads 'Chamber Classics' in cursive. A pencil dedication sits in the margin: 'To Marta, from Dad.' It felt like a message left behind by someone who cares deeply about their music. I tucked it into my tote and stood there a moment, imagining a performer or student waiting for this very score. Hey, I lost my 3/4 size Yamaha violin yesterday around 3pm near the Strand Theatre on Louisiana Ave in Shreveport. It’s in a matte-black hard case with a small red heart sticker on the lid and a tiny crack along the top edge. The bow has a green ribbon tied near the frog, and there’s a scuff on the chin rest from a fall last winter. It’s a silver Yamaha YFL-222 flute in a black hard case with blue lining. The headjoint has a tiny dent near the lip plate, and there’s a faded engraving of my initials 'A.M.' on the lip. The case has a blue strap and a small sticker from a music camp I did last summer. This instrument means a lot to me; it was a gift from my sister and has sentimental value.
