Lost train in downtown Shreveport
Hi, I’m Casey Dupree. I last saw my old model train around 7:15 PM Friday near Festival Plaza along the Shreveport riverfront. It’s a small brass locomotive with a blue stripe and a dent on the tender, the kind my dad and I tinkered with for hours on end. Losing it feels like losing a piece of home, a tangible memory of family evenings and pretend rail yards in our living room. If you happened to see a tiny blue-striped train around the riverfront, that’s mine.
found: student ID in downtown Shreveport.
I found a student ID yesterday around 6:30 PM along Crockett Street in downtown Shreveport, near the Strand Theatre. The card is clearly marked with the student's name and campus photo, and I can only hope the owner notices it's missing soon. I kept it safe, tucked in my pocket, and walked the block a few times, thinking about how a small slip could scramble someone’s week. If the owner sees this, I’d want them to know a kind person picked it up and tried to do the right thing.
Lost travel visas in Shreveport downtown
Last night at 8:45 PM, I realized my travel visas were missing from my coat pocket after leaving the Strand Theatre in downtown Shreveport. I’d just walked along Louisiana Avenue toward the riverfront, checking every fold in the pocket, but they vanished. The visas are a small red folder with my name and a passport photo, and without them my trip tomorrow feels impossible. If they’re found, I’m holding onto the hope that someone will return them to the Strand or the nearby streets of downtown Shreveport and help me breathe a little easier.
