Lost synthesizers in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Last Thursday around 4:30 PM, I realized my two synthesizers were missing from the rehearsal room on Market Street, near the Ferry Building in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. I had paused to print a few sheets and left the gear by a chair while I helped tidy cables, and when I turned back, they were gone. The bag held two compact analog synths, a power supply, and a tangle of patch cables. These aren’t just instruments—they’re my livelihood and my creative outlet. I’m devastated and just want them back. Please reach out through this site if you’ve seen them anywhere near that spot.
Lost drums near Golden Gate Park, San Francisco Bay Area
Last Friday at 3:45 p.m., I realized my drums were gone from the rehearsal space near Golden Gate Park in the San Francisco Bay Area. I stepped out to grab a quick snack and when I turned back, the gear was missing from the corner by the Music Concourse. It’s a battered kit with a bright red finish, a few chipped edges, and a stubborn strap that always squeaks when I move it. I’ve been replaying the moment I walked away, praying someone returned them to the park staff. If you found them, please know they’re not just instruments to me; they’re memories of every open mic and late-night practice.
LOST: Sheet Music in the San Francisco Bay Area
Hi, I’m Daniel Kim. I realized around 3:25 PM on Tuesday that my sheet music for a small jazz set had vanished after a quick practice on Valencia Street in the Mission District. The binder is black with a blue cover, the top page features a tiny piano doodle. I’d tucked it under my arm while I grabbed a coffee at a cafe near Alamo Square, and I must have left it on a bench along that stretch. I’m anxious about the gig and really hope a passerby picked it up and held onto it for me.
Gold Yamaha alto sax with case
Found a Yamaha alto sax this afternoon around 2:15pm outside the Ferry Building Marketplace along the Embarcadero in San Francisco, in the Bay Area. It’s a gold lacquer sax with a few small dings near the bell and a worn neck strap. The hard case is black with a white scuff on the front; inside lid there’s a tiny sailboat sticker. The bell is engraved with the initials 'L.H.' and there’s a dusty microfiber cloth tucked in the case. If this sounds like yours, we can meet up near Market Street or the Ferry Building to get it back to you.
