Lost dolls near Riverside Park, Scottsbluff
I was strolling near the duck pond at Riverside Park around 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday when I realized my two dolls were gone from my tote. They are about a foot tall, cloth bodies with yarn hair—one wears a blue sweater, the other a red dress with frills. They belong to my grandmother and have traveled with me on every trip since she passed; they’re a quiet comfort on rough days in the Panhandle. If you found them anywhere near Riverside Park or along Riverside Court in Scottsbluff, please know how much they mean to me and my family.
Vintage pocket watch with owl engraving
I lost my vintage gold-filled pocket watch yesterday around 3pm. It's a 1920s Hamilton with an owl engraving on the back and the initials 'A.R.' faintly engraved inside the lid. The watch has a small dent on the rim and the attached chain ends with a brass clasp that's a bit bent. I was browsing the downtown Scottsbluff antique row along Broadway near the old courthouse steps when I think I last had it, just after ducking into a tiny bookshop on 16th Street. This watch was a gift from my grandfather and holds a lot of sentimental value; I'm really hoping to get it back.
Framed abstract art print with green tones
Found a framed abstract art print this afternoon around 1:15 pm, outside the cafe on 18th Street near the Scottsbluff Public Library. It's a 16x20 inch print in a matte black frame with a vivid green and teal abstract design and a small splash of gold. The frame has a chipped corner and there's a coffee ring on the bottom edge; a back sticker reads 'LR-07'. I know how meaningful art pieces can be, so if this belongs to you or someone you know, I’d really like to help get it back.
