FOUND: Sheet Music in Santa Barbara
I found this Sheet Music on the steps of the Santa Barbara Mission around 2:15 p.m. last Wednesday. The paper is a weathered score with a few pencil markings and a faded bookmark sticking out. It looks like someone paused to practice nearby and left it behind in a hurry, perhaps drawn to the ocean breeze along the cliff path. The notes feel like a small thread to a memory, and I’m glad to have kept it safe until the owner sees this post. It seems like a performer’s page from a practice session by the sea, and I hope it finds its way home.
Lost violins near State Street, Santa Barbara
After a small recital at the Santa Barbara Conservatory of Music, I realized my two violins were missing from the back of my car around 8:15 pm on Tuesday. The cases are black leather with a faint scuff along the edges; one violin has a slight crack on the back—the sentimental instrument I inherited from my teacher. I combed State Street between the Conservatory and Stearns Wharf, asking staff and locals if they'd seen them. They were more than instruments to me; they carried years of practice, memories of late-night rehearsals, and a promise I made to finish a piece for my grandfather.

I lost my red Pearl snare drum yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks on State Street, Santa Barbara, right outside the Santa Barbara Bowl. It’s a 14x5.5 inch snare with a red sparkle finish, black hardware, and it rides in a black soft case. The shell has a small dent near the 6 o'clock position and there’s a bright blue bicycle sticker on the shell near the bottom hoop. I lost my grey Akai MPK Mini MIDI keyboard while I was walking in Chase Palm Park near the music stage. I was unpacking my equipment after playing a short gig when I realized it wasn't in my bag anymore. It has some scuffs on the sides but works perfectly.
